So you’d think so!

So I was listening to the fact that I like to use Buzzword online and not only that but that I have now began using Bee, a flash-based Blog Editor using Adobe’s AIR.

Why Osama Is Still Alive: Six years later, but not too late!

Posted in Politiquillo on November 14, 2007 by Juno

I was walking out the door, somewhere between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m., on my way to catch the bus to work. I put on my headphones and attempted to fine tune my walkman to the local news station. After a couple of minutes of playing with the dial I finally was able to get it.

"Again the latest news: An airplane has crashed onto one of the New York towers…"

"Wow" I thought, "you gotta be pretty stupid to crash onto something so huge and visible…" and then right after that thought I just started playing with the dial again.

Political Opportunities Come Unwanted

Certainly everyone, by now, is aware of what went down in San Diego and for most of Southern California for the past week. The destruction is horrible, the humanity and cooperation were incredible and the political opportunities were amongst other things very welcomed.
It may seem a bit out of touch or in-humane to talk about politics at a time like this, but neither assessment would be right or wrong. On the one side politics were, are and still will be involved in the whole rebuilding process.

For the Open-Minded.

I tend to be a very open-minded individual, whose mind, well, is very open. Open to what? Open to life. Yes, life. My mind is not just open to one specific set of things, rules or beliefs. This comes to mind because I was watching CNN today and…

I will continue this later…

Politiquillo

The term in Spanish means, literally, “a small politician”, but within the context of politics in Mexico, it refers to someone who was a “nobody” until he or she got elected and became a politician. It is usually a term used to denigrate someone’s political title. In this case, or in my case, Politiquillo is just a space for me to express my feelings, views and knowledge of politics, and since Politico.com was already in use, well, I couldn’t think of a better name to use.

I don’t have a specific target audience in mind and I hope I get to write my opinion both, in English and Spanish, and about the two sides of the border, since politics in a border town are much more rich, intertwined and much more fun.

I will be signing all my posts as Politiquillo, and hope that the negative connotation of which I wrote about above, doesn’t come back and hunt me. In other words, don’t think of my political views, opinions and knowledge as given by a Politiquillo, but take them in the context in which they are given.

Thanks, and goodbye
